Rehema Malindi, here with her son Mahadi, owns a shop in Kibiti, a town in Tanzania’s Morogoro district that sells insecticide-treated nets among other merchandise. In her hand, she holds about 100 vouchers from pregnant women, which had been redeemed over the last month. A wholesaler comes regularly to her shop to collect the vouchers and gives her the amount and kind of nets she needs. “My business has grown because of the program,” she said. Soon, she will also collect vouchers for infants. |
