Thousands of children sit on a wall at the kick-off event for an integrated health campaign in December led by the Government of Mali and its technical and financing partners. Key partners include the Measles Initiative (the United Nations Foundation, WHO, UNICEF, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Red Cross), the Canadian Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies, the U.S. President's Malaria Initiative, USAID, Malaria No More, Nothing But Nets, Major League Soccer, the Women’s National Basketball Association, Malian government agencies, and numerous local nongovernmental and faith-based organizations.
